Lisa and her good friend Hope spent a girls weekend at Rancho de la calleberos www.sunc.com in Arizona, leaving Steve, twins and Mom and Dad in NYC. It was a great girls weekend, with horseback riding, spa time, shopping and gourmet food (and a hayride and cookout!). Unfortunately, Lisa didn't realize she was going to a real dude ranch (she thought it was more like a fancy spa with some horses for atmosphere) and brought only sun dresses and shorts. She had to do her trail rides in the sweatpants she wore on the plane, which did not impress the wranglers. The rides were great, and the wranglers encouraged us to canter & gallup, which we did almost the whole way back on the last trail ride.
