This Sunday we went a long walk. We started at NYU Hospital, which has a horticultural therapy center. Liam and Kiera (and several stroke victims) had a great time with the hammocks, sandbox and toys, plus dozens of birds, fish and a bunny. We visited a street fair, where they couldn't get enough of the arepas, which are sweet corn pancakes with mozarella cheese. Afterwards we hit Madison Square Park, the Carousel at Bryant Park and finally, the new Broadway, which has been transformed into a pedestrian-only walkway, complete with thousands of lawn chairs.

oh, to live in NYC! What great photos, and what great weather you had. Do you think that pedestrian Times Square thing can last? That's a fantastic photo you got of it.
