We've spent the past couple of weeks trying to make Liam understand that no costume = no candy on Halloween. He was very excited to pick out his Buzz Lightyear costume, but now won't put it on without much cajoling. One reason is that he thinks the costume is "broken" because lightening bolts don't come out of the sleeves.

But why didn't you get the one that shoots lightning bolts?
I'm sure we would have if they made one ... , despite the fact that we're still paying off the life-size Buzz we got thim last month. Yes we have big SUCKERS on our foreheads...
