Gigi, a neighbor and close friend of Kiera's, had a Ni Hao Kai-Lan (a popular cartoon)-themed third birthday party featuring chinese food and decorations (the invitation arrived engraved with Chinese calligraphy ...). The Brooklyn heights birthday parties have been quite elaborate featuring all sorts of themes (another neighbor had a pony party for her 3rd birthday featuring pony rides in front of our condo building), entertainers and food.
