It was a fun but exhausing weekend, with the twins getting their first real exposure to the beach (other than hanging out in their car seats on it). We thought they'd love the sand, but they were very confused and almost mad about it. We set L&K on the sand, expecting them to go crazy, but they were almost frozen in place, wondering what the heck the squishy earth underneath them was. On a separate but related thought, most people say it gets easier to raise twins ... in our experience, it is just as enjoyable as it has always been, but it's getting exponentially more difficult. We took them back to NYC on the ferry and they went bonkers, refusing to sit still for more than 30 seconds at a clip.
