New York City is in the midst of a massive heat wave. Today was the 4th straight day of 90 degree temperatures. We're fortunate that Eli and Leila live in a building with a three-acre interior courtyard with fountains, swings and plenty of room to roam around, which is very unique (an understatement) for the city. Saturday we celebrated Eli and Leila's first birthday with a great "cocktails and cupcakes party" in the courtyard. We went back on Sunday and Annie took the kids today for a picnic. We're not sure how she manages to watch both kids, since they're now running, and often in different directions.
