Two Saturdays ago we set off the nearest Christmas Tree farm (in Boonton, NJ) to chop down the twins' first Christmas tree. We thought they'd be thrilled; instead Liam and Kiera seemed highly skeptical of the snow, the cold and the overall experience. It may have been because we got lost and arrived at the farm in the middle of nap time. At any rate, we made the most of the day, selecting a very nice 5-foot tree and checking out the resident alpacas on the farm and the owner's cat.
