The Holiday weekend was long and hot. We spent the weekend in New Jersey, where we caught the fireworks from Vicky and Barry's mom's house overlooking the Shrewsbury River and fireworks barge. Liam loved the "party in the sky", but Kiera, who doesn't like loud noises, skipped the fireworks in favor of watching an Elmo DVD in the car. We also took a day trip to the Asbury water park, where Steve and the twins huddled under a small umbrella to escape the 105 degree heat.
