It was a great, hectic weekend. Highlights included a long visit Saturday with Ray and Victoria, who were up visiting Ray's mom in New Jersey. The kids swam in their pool and Kiera refused to get out, throwing a mild tantrum any time Lisa tried to dry off. We had a great bbq to welcome Chiggy back after her six-week class in Florida. On Sunday, we went out for dimsum, a trip to the aquarium and a run to coney island for a visit with Leila and Eli, rides and ice cream. On the way home Sunday evening, the twins collapsed in their car seats, not even waking for the transfer to their cribs. Annie was appalled (rightly so) to come back after a week away to find Liam and Kiera dirty (we skipped baths this weekend) and sleeping in their day time clothes. She didn't say anything though until she went to change Liam and sand fell out his diaper, which earned us a mild rebuke.

Ok, is my kid the only one out there who flat out refuses ice cream???
wow, count your blessings! L&K start asking for it first thing in the a.m. and don't stop. Does Lilli like other sweets?
Anything chocolate! She has enough McCarthy in her to need a sugar fix- just nothing cold. Then again, if it's not mac n cheese or yogurt, she's really not interested anyway. I keep hoping it will get better...
