A long weekend

It was a long weekend in more ways than one. On Saturday morning, Liam dove off the couch face first on to the coffee table. Immeditately afterwards, he threw up twice. We thought it might be a concussion and were very worried. The doctor told us to watch him and come in if the throwing up continued, which it did. We took him to the emergency room late Sat night and it turns out he doesn't have a concussion, but does have a nasty virus that can last up to 8 days. He can't drink milk and needs to eat bananas, rice and other starches. Unfortunately, our friends with the twins came to visit us and we hung out with them all day thinking Liam had a concussion not a contagious virus. We did get in some good beach time, a bbq, lots of TV (thank god for baby einstein) and a bright spot was seeing Hannah and Tom who are back from South Carolina.

Our twins are psychically connected! Maybe they all share a brain! Turns out John and I are the worst parents ever - the boys are allergic to milk products and have been bleeding in their stool, and we haven't noticed! Also, Jeremiah has an umbilical hernia and I thought it was just an outie belly button. They're both miserable - their allergy has been developing and then really started manifesting the past few days. So, rice milk for all the twins!

How did that beach tent work? I was looking at the same one for Tybee...

hi - the beach tent is the BEST. It's from onestepahead.com. You fill the sides with sand so it doesn't blow away. Actually we got all our beach stuff from onestepeahead and really like the site.
