People kept asking Lisa today if we went out for a nice Mother's Day meal. We did, but it was after a walk where Kiera screamed for 30 minutes because she had sunscreen in her eye (something we didn't realize until her eye turned puffy and she couldn't open it). Also, Liam and Kiera have turned into the nightmare restaurant companions, since every new space is something demanding exploration vs. sitting in their chairs. Still, it was a great day and scenes like today's laughing fit remind us why being a mother (and father) is the greatest thing in the world.
