Saturday was a very sad day as we bit the bullet and got the kids their first haircut. We would have let it go (forever), but the twins were having trouble seeing through the hair in their eyes. After much research, we settled on a hairdresser and booked appointments. The kids got to sit in a snazzy firetruck (at least Liam did, Kiera refused), watch cartoons and eat lollipops while the hairdresser worked. Both haircuts turned out very well and we can't believe how different the twins look (probably a change only visible to parents). The hair locks and "first haircut certificates" are in our safe.

I notice in the 4th photo of Liam that there is a dollar bill sticking out of the hairdresser's, um, shirt. Seems an odd way to accept tips...
Looks like an amazing place to get haircuts though -- more like a toy store than a barber shop! I'm surprised Kiera looks so unhappy -- I would have assumed that Liam would be more upset about losing his Samson-like locks. It's hard to tell how much they got cut off. Post more "after" photos!
yes, how did they turn out?! i love that you did research...
Can I get my hair cut there?
