Halloween (again)

Halloween in NYC is a month-long affair, with back-to-back kids events. On Saturday, it was a kids festival in Madison Square Park, complete with pumpkin decorating and other crafts, performers, free cotton candy (the most popular activity) and, of course, corporate sponsors. Liam refused to wear his costume, but did spend a good part of the day lugging Elmo around. Kiera wanted nothing to do with Abby Cadabby, instead choosing her Halloween leggings and boo shirt from Pau Pau and Gung Gung. Kiera also debuted a new winter coat that was so "heavy" she kept falling.

Can't believe it's so cold there already! Brrr! We just had Pirate Fest in Tybee--Keith flew down and joined us for Lili's first time as a pirate wench. She was very brave when the pirate ship arrived, blasted the cannons and somehow managed to make the heavens open up for the hugest downpour I've seen on Tybee! Next day was a beach day though, so can't complain! Let us know the next time you travel South...would love to get the kids together!

Hi Jen -- can I get your address? I have a thank you on my desk for the great Deceptively Delicious cookbook you sent (Steve was supposed to call and get your new address!). We love it, though I admit we more read it and fantasize about what we should be doing versus actually cooking anything healthy :) But the book occupies a place of honor on our counter (kind of like having intellectual books on our bookshelf :)

Ha ha! Honestly, I think the thing I liked about that book was more the idea of just being able to toss some baby food veggies into anything. I do that more than follow a recipe. Although, just ordering a spinach pizza does the trick too! No need for a note. Address just to have: 1015 Forrest Blvd Decatur GA 30030
