We had a busy weekend, which started when Mom and Dad arrived Saturday afternoon for a quick 24-hour visit. They came to drop off a suitcase full (literally) of AMAZING clothes for the kids. We went to Chinatown for dim sum, where Mom and Dad realized what it's like to eat out with Liam and Kiera, an exercise that mostly involves running around the restaurant after them. Kiera was cranky afterwards and went home, while Liam went with us to buy some Tiger Balm, and suprised us all by figuring out how to open the "child proof" cap. We celebrated Dad's birthday that night, with Liam and Kiera singing their newly-learned Happy Birthday song. Sunday morning was filled with a makeup lesson for Liam and Kiera, apartment cleaning (Mom clearly -- and rightly -- felt that apartment buyers should be able to see our countertops), and another great swim with Gung Gung.
